What do you do when you’re overcome with intense emotion, such as anger, fear, grief or sadness?
Often we suppress difficult emotions or try to pass them onto someone else… anything to not feel the discomfort ourselves!
However, emotions can be some of our most valuable teachers. Emotion = Energy in motion; When we suppress the motion of our emotions, we create a build-up of energy that is stored in the body, which can manifest as physical or emotional pain later on.
In this workshop, Chelsea will offer tools for harnessing a deeper understanding of emotions, the teachings they bring and how they manifest physically. Once understood and connected, the emotion can be moved and released.
This workshop will include lecture & discussion, followed by a practice that includes asana, pranayama and guided meditation.
