1-Day Yoga & Meditation Retreat

Treat yourself to a mini “stay-cation” with this 1-Day Yoga & Meditation retreat and give yourself the opportunity to destress, relax, deepen your sense of self-awareness and practice the art of mindfulness.

Buddhist Meditation teacher, Evan Zaleschuk, and Yoga Therapist, Chelsea Lee, will be guided through the 4 stages of mindfulness meditation: mindfulness of body, emotions, mind and object of mind.  Each meditation will follow a complementary gentle Hatha yoga practice designed to prepare your physical body for seated or laying meditation. The 4 meditation/yoga sessions will be 60 minutes in length with a break in between. No previous meditation or yoga experience is necessary – all levels welcome!

A vegetarian lunch will be offered, catered by Jo Ann Noonan.  There is also a fridge and microwave available if you choose to bring your own lunch. Coffee and tea will be provided during breaks.

Please note that this 1-day retreat will be silent (aside from the instructions of the teachers).  The silence will allow you to remain focused on your internal process with the intention of deepening the experience.
