Breathing is an automatic bodily process, so naturally most of us think that the breath will take care of itself. However, not many of us know how to breathe fully and completely.
Conscious Breathing – bringing awareness to your breath and altering its rhythm and shape – can dramatically affect your experience of day-to-day life.
In this 1.5 hour workshop, Chelsea will teach you the anatomy and mechanics of breathing, and how to direct your breath to different parts of your body, allowing you to breathe more fully and freely. Various techniques and exercises will be practiced as a means of developing and beginning the process of retraining healthy breathing patterns.
This workshop will be especially beneficial for you if you experience: anxiety, shortness of breath, frequent yawning, chronic fatigue, breath holding, restless leg syndrome, insomnia, difficulty inhaling or exhaling completely, and/or you’re interested in cultivating a greater awareness of your breath!
